Travels and Tales in Search of Eutopia

About Femme – In Search of Eutopia May 8, 2007

“Titchy Totchy” was the name given to Femme’s restless spirit as a child, so coined by her eloquent mother.  “Titchy Totchy” has now evolved to encompass and describe the transient and varied nature of Femme’s existence – something which she has learned to embrace.

Femme was born to a brilliant British D.O.P/Cameraman and his beautiful wife in the 70s and was introduced to the world of Television and Film soon after.  Despite the pressure to pursue a writing career from an early age, it was in television that on the advent of adulthood, she had forged her own career; later breaking away to find her niche elsewhere in the world in around 1998 when amongst other things, she spent some time designing clothes and dreadlocking the good people of London’s hair.

Her search [for a niche] has taken her to some wonderful places and allowed her to see the world in many ways.  Her journey has not been easy and her life not charmed, but it has been an incredible ride…thus far.  She is a devoted mother of four little boys who have each in their own way shaped her world and have put new spin on her experiences to date.

Ten years, a brief return to television; dozens of design projects; book drafts; four children and travel spanning half of the globe later; Femme now works and plays in Perth, Western Australia from her studio full of artwork and handmade clothes…and yes, she still has itchy feet!

Some people travel the world search for the meaning of life…Femme travels with the meaning of life by her side, holding her hands…just searching for their own Eutopia.
